FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

RESERVATIONS AND ENQUIRIES

 

When you email a reservation enquiry, please do not assume that a reservation has been made until it has been confirmed in an email from Bali Green Spa. So please always check your email !

 

We always reply to any emails we receive, our target is to reply within 30 minutes except when

 

The email is received out side of working hours 10:00am to 10:00pm (GMT+7 or GMT+8)

It is a complex request or a quote.

           The internet  connection is not working

 

If you do not receive a reply with in a day please email the spa again, as we will not have received your email. (Recently we have had emails from I Phone services taking up to 4 days to arrive)

 

If you are making a reservation enquiry and not a general enquiry, you need to tell us both the date and time of the reservation. If you do not require free transport and if the spa  is not heavily booked that day, we can be flexible about the arrival time. But if you want to use the free transport we can not send you a confirmation without a definite time.

 

Unfortunately we can not always take your booking, as the spa may already be full or have no available free transport at  that date/time. The earlier you contact us the more likely it is that you will be able to come to the spa at the date and time you wish. We will always offer you another time or date/time as close as possible to your requested date/time.

 

If you do require free transport  please request it with your reservation enquiry. Once the reservation is confirmed it may not be possible to provide free transport if you request it at a later date, or we may have to change the reservation time to fit in with our transport schedule.

 

In the event of any problems, transport delays etc. The spa will try and contact you via your hotel, but this may not be possible if you do not  tell us your real name or if the hotel room is not booked in your name. So if possible please provide the name that the hotel room is booked under and/or a local contact number ie. Mobile/Cell/Handphone number.

 

If you do not send us the correct hotel/villa name and address there may be a delay in confirming your reservation. If we cannot locate the hotel/villa on the internet we will have to email you for more Information.

 

There are about 500 Hotels and 10,000+ Villas in Bali many with similar names, it is often very difficult for us locate where you are staying if it is not one of the well known hotels/villas. Usually the area is enough, for example Villa XXX in Seminyak.

PAYMENT

 

All payments are made at the spa in $USD or Rupiah at the exchange rate on the day of the reservation.

 

We do not take payments over the internet due to the risk  to our customers.

 

Payment can be made in cash using $USD (notes must be in good condition and issued 2006 onwards) or Indonesian Rupiah.

 

We also take Visa and Master Credit Cards, there is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card.

 

Credit card payments are made in Indonesian Rupiah at the exchange rate on the day of the reservation.

 

The minimum payment with a credit card is Rp150,000.

CHILDREN

 

LOOKING AFTER

 

We may be able to look after your children when you visit the spa, but it is dependent on staff availability.

 

We can not look after children under 1 year old.

 

Please advise the spa when making the reservation that you will be bringing children so we can check our staff availability.

 

If your children are badly behaved or disruptive you may have to stop your treatment and take control of them.

 

Any child care provided is entirely at the discretion of the spa.

 

TAKING SPA TREATMENT

 

Children 10 years of over can take most spa treatments/packages. The therapist will obviously take the child’s smaller body size into account and adjust the strength of the massage etc. accordingly.

 

Children 5-9  years old can take Balinese or Aromatherapy massage / Avacado Facemask / Papaya Body Mask / Cream Bath.

 

We can not give any type of spa treatment to children under five years old.

 

Any treatments given to children are entirely at the discretion of the spa.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND PREGNANCY

 

If you have any medical problems, allergies, skin problems etc or you are pregnant, it is your responsibility to let the spa know when making your reservation.

 

Depending upon your condition(s) the spa may not be able to take your booking or may advise a different, safer treatment.

 

We will accept guests who are pregnant, but there are certain treatments we will definitily not provide as they are unsafe for pregnant women.

 

REFLEXOLOGY/FOOT MASSAGE AND SHIATSU,THAI,AYURWEDA,HOT STONE massages.

 

Also when taking the massage during pregnancy you will need to lay on your side or back, you can not lay face down. The therapist will avoid the stomach/ankle/sole of feet areas and you also can not take a strong version of any massage, the massage will have be done more gently.

 

The spa reserves the right to refuse treatment or terminate treatment early ,if the therapist suspects that there is a problem that you have not informed the spa about previously.

CONTACT WITH THE SPA

 

All contact with the spa and its staff is via email or our local numbers

We can not give out the personal numbers of our office staff, therapists or drivers.

 

In the event of a problem we will attempt to contact you via email or your at your hotel, but this may not be possible if you do not  tell us your real name or if the hotel room is not booked in your name.

 

If you have provided us with a local contact number we may also use this to contact you.

 

We can not contact you on a international number, due to the expense involved.

SPA ALCOHOL POLICY

 

No alcoholic drinks are allowed at the spa as we do not have licenses to either sell alcohol or allow it to be consumed on the premises.

FREE TRANSPORT

 

The free transport service will always be provided for guests who require it and have a confirmed reservation. For bookings at short notice, free transport is subject to availability and we may not be available to provide this facility, if the spa is busy at the time you have requested.

 

The service is provided by the spa’s own vehicles and is at the spa’s discretion.

 

Free transport means a single trip pick up and a single trip return service to your hotel/villa or another convenient point and only in the areas we cover.

 

KUTA-TUBAN-JIMBARAN-NUSA DUA-SANUR-SEMINYAK-KEROBOKAN-CANGGU  

 

 

 

If you want to be returned to a different place from where you were picked up, please let us know in advance. If you do not ,we may not have enough time in our schedule to take you where you want to go.

 

If you contact the spa by email or telephone requesting an immediate pick up we may not be able take your booking as the free transport may already be fully booked for other guests who have made reservations.

 

The driver will be carrying a card with BALI GREEN SPA so you can identify him/her, we can not give you the driver’s personal number as we do not know which driver will be allocated to your pick up.

 

Occasionally we may substitute a taxi and staff escort, if we have a full transport schedule.

 

If we are making multiple pickups in the same area, you may have to share the free transport with other guests.

 

The driver will only wait for 15 minutes, unless you contact the spa to let them know that you will be late and the spa agrees to extend the waiting time.

 

If the driver is going to be late for your pick up, because of traffic conditions etc. The spa will attempt to contact you via your hotel reception or a local number if you have provided us with one.

 

If you want to be returned to a different place from where you were picked up, please let us know in advance. If you do not ,we may not have enough time in our schedule to take you where you want to go.

 

We can pick up guests from the airport, but we will not arrive at the airport until 1 hour after your flight has arrived, this is because it can take between 30 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes to clear customs and immigration.  We reserve to right to cancel the pick up if your flight arrives more than 30 minutes late.

 

If you want to be taken to the airport it is your responsibility to make sure there is enough time to catch your flight.

EXAMPLES OF WHAT OUR FREE TRANSPORT  IS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE

 

Pick you up 2 hours before your reservation time and drop you off to go shopping and then return later to pick you up and take you to the spa,

 

Take you to a restaurant etc. and then pick you up  2 hours later to return you to your hotel.

 

Pick you up or drop you off outside our free transport area                                     

please note that both UBUD (2 hours each way) and TANAH LOT (1 Hour each way) are far outside this area.

 

We can not pay for a taxi or tour guide to bring you to the spa without prior agreement from us.
